MINIARCS
Welcome to my small world. I'm Vanessa Tiegs, creator of Miniarcs, miniature artworks crafted in the scale of one inch equals one foot. Having loved miniatures since age five, I design, build, stage & photograph my modern miniatures, which I call Miniarcs. Each Miniarc stage set is an original one-of-a-kind, built lovingly by hand with precision detail and fine-quality materials.

GLASS TABLE
I designed and built this glass top table for the Miniarcs collection. The table's clear lucite legs detach from the table top for storing when not in use. The legs attach via tiny magnets. The glass table measures 3-1/2" x 6" x 2-5/8" high. It appeared in ReadyMade Magazine, Oct/Nov 2008 Issue 37, page 60, Movers & Makers.
ALL WHITE LUXURY BED
A custom-made request for an all white luxury Miniarc bed built in 1:12 scale made lovingly by hand in San Francisco.
A pair of hand-sewn white silk square pillows rests on a pair of hand-crafted white silk bolster pillows. The bed sheet is made of 400 thread count cotton. At the foot of the bed is a neatly folded comforter. The comforter cover is made of a finely woven silk and satin pinstripe fabric. All soft luxurious fabrics.
The bed is constructed with a 4" x 5" solid white acrylic base, and a laser-cut T-shaped platform measuring 10" wide x 7" long. This includes a night table on each side of the bed. The platform supports a light-weight specially cut mattress of synthetic foam measuring 6" x 7" x 1.5". The memory foam mattress is fitted with a white cotton sheet with carefully folded hospital corners.
